A birthday celebration fit for a princess! Princess Eugenie of York celebrated her 25th birthday on Monday, March 23, and the day was full of surprises, well-wishes, and fun festivities.
Spending her day in New York City, the London-born royal was celebrated by her father, Prince Andrew, in a high-tech way at St. James’ Palace. The Duke of York was hosting a Pitch@Palace event, which covered entrepreneurship and business ventures, when he paused his presentation for a special surprise.
Prince Andrew, 55, whipped out an iPad and FaceTimed his daughter to send a transatlantic birthday wish. The celebrating princess answered with her mother, Sarah Ferguson, and her sister, Princess Beatrice, on either side of her. Wearing a pair of funky birthday cake sunglasses, Eugenie waved to her father from thousands of miles away.

“Ladies and gentleman, the lady in the middle is my youngest daughter and it’s her 25th birthday today,” he told the crowd. “So, your ideal task this evening is to sing her ‘Happy Birthday.'”
Princess Beatrice, 26, Fergie, 55, and the audience members then sang Princess Eugenie a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday” as she grinned. Before she signed off, Fergie wished her ex-husband well on his Pitch@Palace endeavor, with the girls adding, “We’re very proud, pops!”
The family trio spoke to Prince Andrew from New York City, as they were spotted in Manhattan on Monday evening. The three royal women fêted Eugenie’s birthday with a swanky dinner at acclaimed restaurant Butter.
